PLAINFIELD MOM WELCOMES FIRST BABY OF 2014
First child born this year at Trinitas Regional Medical Center
Adriena Townsend of Plainfield, welcomed a daughter, T'Xziiya (pronounced Taziya), born at 9:35am on January 1 at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 8.3 ounces and measured 20 ¼ inches. As the first baby born in the New Year, mother and baby received a basket full of newborn needs donated by Babies R Us. An anonymous benefactor of Trinitas also generously donated a knitted infant blanket set to the newborn.
Before discharge, mother and baby posed for a photograph with members of the Labor and Delivery unit and the Mother/Baby unit at Trinitas.
