TRINITAS CELEBRATES NATIONAL NUTRITION MONTH
Month-long activities wrap with March 25 cooking demonstration
Nicholas Brooks, Executive Chef at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, will host a cooking demonstration at the Williamson Street Campus on Tuesday, March 25. The public is invited to attend the event that is the conclusion of the observance of National Nutrition Month. "Nutritional Benefits of Antioxidants" will take place 5:30–7pm in the main cafeteria at 225 Williamson Street in Elizabeth.
Chef Nicholas is a graduate of Johnson & Wales College of Culinary Arts in Rhode Island where he studied under Chef Segundo Torres. He later completed an internship at Bradley Ogden’s One Market in San Francisco where he gained experience while training under Chef George Morrone. Since November 2012, Chef Nicholas has been leading the kitchen activites at Trintias where he has broadened the menu offerings with diverse ethnic foods. By incorporating locally grown and more sustainable fresh ingredients, Chef Nicholas has created seasonal menus that are both fresh and healthy. He integrates menu elements that make for a well-worth-the-visit dining experience at the Trintias cafeteria.
