LAWS ON THE BOOKS, PAINT ON THE WALLS
Local legislator lends a hand to brighten patient unit at Trinitas
Assemblywoman Annette Quijano of the 20th legislative district does more than serve her constituents in the halls of Trenton. She even pitches in to get the job done right here in the community.
The Assemblywoman (second from right) joined the Sherwin-Williams Employee team who recently volunteered their paint, time, and muscle to a painting project at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Management trainees and the manager of the Sherwin-Williams Chatham location spackled, primed and painted patient bedrooms and common areas in the Residential Treatment Center at the New Point Campus of Trinitas. The result was brighter surroundings in the Center and brighter spirits among the teenage patients.
The paint retailer also plans to donate clothes, school supplies, electronic equipment and bedding to the Pediatric Psychiatric unit and the Adolescent Residential Unit at Trinitas.
