LOCAL AUTHOR SHARES SECRETS OF "COOKING AND COPING"
Luncheon audience hears readings from recently-published book
Local author Laura Zinn Fromm has whipped up a classic recipe that combines the sharing of food and friendship in her book, "Sweet Survival: Tales of Cooking & Coping." The Short Hills resident read from and discussed her book at a women's luncheon sponsored recently by Trinitas Health Foundation at the Shackamaxon Country Club in Scotch Plains, NJ. The Foundation organized the luncheon as a "thank you" to the members of the Annual Gala committee for their hard work which resulted in a record amount raised in May.
The Gala is one of several Trinitas Health Foundation fundraisers throughout the year that advance the mission of Trinitas Regional Medical Center to meet the healthcare needs of the community.
Laura Zinn Fromm, third from left, displayed copies of her book along with, left to right, Susan Feinberg, Vice President, Wealth Advisor at Wells Fargo Bank, and former Short Hills resident; Ruthi Byrne, president of Zinn Graves & Field Inc., and resident of Short Hills; and Nadine Brechner, Chief Development Officer and Vice President, Trinitas Health Foundation.
