Gift Shop
Located adjacent to the Main Lobby of the hospital on the first floor, our
Gift Shop offers a variety of snacks, gift items, flowers, cards, and
magazines.
Meal Service
Trinitas Regional Medical Center offers patients Room Service, an innovative program that
allows you greater flexibility. Room Service is available from 6:45am to
6:30pm.
When you are ready to eat, make your selections from the Room Service Menu
"Good Food For All Seasons." Then use your bedside phone to dial FOOD
(extension 3663) and order what you wish to eat; your meal will be
delivered to you within 45 minutes.
If your doctor has ordered a special diet, all menu items may not be
appropriate for you. In that case, the menu clerk who takes your order will
assist you in making the selections allowed on your diet.
If you can't place your own food order, a family member may simply call the
Hospital's main number (908-994-5000) and ask for extension 3663.
A voice message system handles calls made before 6:45am or after 6:30pm. If
a family member is not available, your nurse can help you make the calls as
well. If for some reason you, or anyone else is unable to order your meal,
arrangements will be made for meals to be sent to you automatically on a
regular basis.
It is our goal for you to be very satisfied with your food service. Please
rate our services by filling out the survey provided to you in your menu
jacket and help us to meet our goal. Thank you for your assistance.
Library Services
The library at Trinitas Regional Medical Center is available to help you gain a better
understanding of your health and wellness related questions. The library
offers a variety of materials that you will find easy to read and understand
in the Consumer Health section. For those who wish to conduct more in-depth
research, you also have access to the library's collection of medical
literature, as well as online access to the internet via the
Library. Library
users are encouraged to discuss any materials gathered from the library with
their healthcare professional. Library hours for patients and family members
are Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Dial extension 5371 for
more information.
Lost and Found
Lost articles which are found within the hospital are turned over to the
Security Department for safekeeping. Call extension 5211 for
assistance.
Notary Public Services
Please note that Trinitas Regional Medical Center Williamson Street Campus does not
provide the services of a Notary Public.
Protective Services
Trinitas Regional Medical Center safeguards the rights of all our patients to access
protective services. If you or a family member would like information or
have concerns about domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse or
neglect, or adult or elder abuse, our hospital staff is available to speak
with you about your concerns. We will help you to access existing social,
legal, and protective services in the community. If you wish to discuss your
concerns or desire assistance, please speak with your physician, nurse, or
social worker, or call the Social Services Department at extension 5136.
Telephone Service
Patients may arrange for telephone service in their rooms with the Cashiers
Office at extension 5086 between 9am and 5pm. There is a daily charge
of $1.75 and a $20.00 deposit which is not covered by your insurance and
which is payable upon admission.
You are also responsible for all long distance charges.
You may receive calls between the hours of 8am and 10pm without the
assistance of the hospital switchboard, and you may dial out at any time.
When making a local call, dial "9" and then the number. For long-distance
calls, dial "9," 1 then the area code and number.
Local outgoing calls are individually charged at $.25 per 5 minutes. Long
distance calls are billed on duration and distance. If charges exceed the
$20.00 deposit an additional deposit will be required.
Public telephones are available on all patient floors and in the Elevator
Corridor near the Main Lobby.
If you are hearing impaired, you may request a volume-controlled handset or
a TTY/TTD from the hospital operator.
TV Service
Patients may call extension 5337 between 11am and 7pm to arrange for
television rentals at a charge of $4.75 per day.
Patients may call the Patient Registration Department at extension 5125
for television rentals if admitted after 7pm. If you are in need of closed
caption, please indicate this when you request service.
eCards
Now you can send a message oflove and support to patients at our Williamson St. Campus using our eCards service. Our Volunteer Services Department will print your message and deliver it to your friend or loved one on most business days.
